A Family Business
Southeast Tree Care is a family run business and has expanded greatly in size and reputation over the last 3 years. My brother Harvey Sessford and I, Ashley Sessford set up the company in November 2014, we now have an excellent team working with us.
Before setting up the business my brother and I both worked with other tree care and landscaping companies. For over 12 years we have expanded our knowledge and skills and know the dos and don’ts to make a tree care and landscaping company successful. Everyone at Southeast Tree Care are very passionate about what they do and this shows in our workmanship.
We studied Arboriculture, Tree Surgery and Forestry at Merrist Wood and have held Accreditations for over 14 years.
We now have an apprentice from Merrist Wood College working with us, the apprentice is able to learn the best techniques and styles to make a great Tree Surgeon. We are supported and trusted by Merrist Wood to do so.

Safety is a big concern when it comes to Tree Surgery. Southeast Tree Care always update their equipment so it’s the best in its class for each job. LOLER inspections are carried out every 6 months and all harnesses and ropes are checked regularly by onsite staff. Personal protective equipment is worn throughout all of our jobs. Chainsaw trousers, helmets and correct footwear is provided for the whole team.
We use the latest Sthil battery operated machinery when we need to work in a restricted noise zone area, so we cause less disruption for near by public.
